EUREL 250EUrelations AG is a private service company providing support to high-tech SMEs, the industry and universities related to their activities in research & development. EUrelations identifies the suitable funding programmes for its customers, assesses technologies and evaluates chances for success. The company also writes the project proposals, takes over tasks of the project management and administration and is qualified to execute financial and technological audits. The company applies Project Management methods and tools of the IPMA (International Project Management Association) and constantly improves and adjusts management processes to the benefit of the scientific cooperation in practice. The team stimulates innovation processes, moderates meetings, and cares for the documentation of the work. They have been advising the first consortia led by Swiss coordinators in FP6 and 7 after the full association to EU-FP in 2004. The knowledge comes from the company founder's (Dr. Andrea Degen) previous experience as the National Contact Point (NCP) in Switzerland from 2000-05 and from Mrs Katrin Reschwamm who was in charge of EU-FP at the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation (IFF) in Magdeburg for 10 years.
EUrelations is linked to many SMEs and knowledge sharing communities and has successfully moderated intellectual property rights challenges and tensions in competing teams. The company also trains qualified staff at many European universities about international RTD cooperation and successful participation in funding schemes and promotes collaboration with the private industry. The company acts as a partner in international funded projects, especially FP6 and 7. Its board members are experts and external auditors of national and international public R&D funding agencies. In 2009 EUrelations AG organized the First International Conference on Research Funding about "Where to acquire and how to deal with funds?" in Zurich. The company was established in 2005 and is based with its currently seven employees in Technopark Zurich/Switzerland.
Within the B-innovative project EUrelations will be responsible for the implementation of the modules and lectures in Switzerland, incl. the development of country-specific modules, the delivery of lectures, the validation of the ECVET accreditation for Switzerland. In addition, EUrelations AG plays a primary role in the Dissemination and Exploitation of Results.
